Race Location

This year’s event will be conveniently located just south of the Mission Bay Visitor Center right off Interstate 5 at the Clairemont Drive exit, in beautiful Mission Bay Park. Head toward the bay, stay left and follow the signs.

Course Information

This course in located along the boardwalk of beautiful Mission Bay. Aid Stations, public restrooms, and volunteers will line the course to make for a pleasant run along the water surrounded by palm trees.

Start Heats

We have designated heats for all registered participants. Your bib will be marked with your assigned heat. The heats will be separated into the following:

  • Competitive Runners (includes chip timing)
  • Joggers (optional chip timing)
  • Walkers

*Children in strollers are allowed to participate in the Walkers Corral

All race bibs will be marked with their designated start corral. Each start corresponds to a wave. There will be 3-4 minutes between waves to maintain a safe, fast and fun course for all participants.

The first 5k heat will open at 8:15am. All 5k participants must be in their designated heats by 8:00am. The 5k will begin promptly at 8:15am.

Gear Check

Gear Check will not be available with the exception of a lock box for Cars Keys which you may check. The Start & Finish are located at the same location and conveniently next to the parking lot so it is recommended to leave your valuables in your car.

Medical

Medical support will be provided at the finish line as well as waters station along the course.

Start & Finish Hydration

Start & Finish line water will be provided.
